A once-in-a-lifetime encounter at Abeno Harukas

Thank you so much to everyone who came to Abeno Harukas and to everyone who saw our posts! Despite the intense heat, we stood from morning till night in the wonderfully cool department store, and were able to welcome so many customers once again.

I had many wonderful encounters ❤
My first customer was someone who had liked my clothes for some time.
This time, she brought her younger sister with her, and they found the perfect outfit for her sister!
Also, I connected with a woman who was visiting from Taiwan, even though we couldn't communicate in English or Japanese, through our shared love of clothes! She loved our new dresses, tried on several in different colors, took photos each time to compare them, and finally purchased the one she liked best.

A linguist professor, who actually wore my clothes when welcoming new students, has now ordered a second outfit from me.
I design clothes with the idea that "clothing is a space that envelops a person," but listening to this professor's words, I strongly feel that words, too, can become a space.
Conversely, if words are too flat, they become mere sounds that don't convey anything to people.

This shot is so striking in its color that you'd want to say...
While I value creating comfortable clothing, I also believe that the colors used in the design should be beautiful, like flowers, and appealing to people.

I love department stores because they offer unique, once-in-a-lifetime encounters that you can only find there.
Although there are no photos, someone who regularly follows our Instagram came all the way from Gifu, tried on many items, and purchased their favorite piece.
This encounter was only possible because of a place like this, and I'm incredibly happy and encouraged by it (T_T)
Such unexpected encounters are so delightful that they become the energy for what comes next.
I vowed to myself that I would continue exhibiting at least twice a year from now on!
